The Aneurin Bevan Memorial Stones

Tredegar General Hospital

The ghost of a nun with a ‘hooked nose’ has been seen on the wards of the hospital. She is reportedly a good omen, for those who see her are thought to be on the road to recovery.

The general hospital closed after the new Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan opened in Ebbw Vale in October 2010.
